New MSHA 4-Hour New Miner Training

Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) Title 30, Part 46 regulations requires that mine operators and/or independent contractors provide 24 hours of training within 90 days of when a new miner starts work. This new ClickSafety online course can be used towards meeting the MSHA training requirement:

MSHA 4-Hour New Miner Training, Part 1 (Site Entry) provides the minimum level of training for beginning work at a mine site.

MSHA 4-Hour New Miner Training, Part 2 (General Safety & Health) builds on that by adding additional training on emergency procedures, first aid methods, self-rescue and respiratory devices, as well as other hazards found at a mine site such as silica dust, confined spaces, hazardous energies, and more.
